Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals around, and yes it probably has something to do with the stellar line-up of musical artist they have. But for us it’s all about the festival fashion.
Coachella is unique for a few reasons. Number one; It takes place in Indio, California, which is only two hours away from the celebrity epicentre that is Los Angeles. Number two; Most festivals involve sleeping in a muddy tent with 12 other people and are lacking in luxury. Coachella does offer this experience, but it also has an exclusive VIP section which cuts back on the crowds and offers plenty of conveniences.
So these factors make Coachella the perfect getaway for all our favourite celebs like the KarJenners, and Vanessa Hudgens, and when stars turn up, they do so in style. Making Coachella infamous for it’s influence on festival fashion.
But previous years of the event were full of flower crowns and monochromatic patterns, and in it’s two year hiatus fashion has shifted greatly. So what exactly is the festival offering us in 2022?
Well this year 70s style was at the forefront of fashion with corduroy, halterneck jumpsuit, and crocheted pieces being popular. As were the naughties staples like low-rise everything, playful hair accessories, and glittery outfits.
