Another day, another weird beauty trend.
In this day and age does anything really surprise us when it comes to beauty?
The latest trend to confuse us all is rainbow teeth, where people are using a colouring agent to get their teeth all different colours of the rainbow.
CHRŌM is a tooth polish, just like nail polish, that can be applied and removed in a matter of seconds, and allegedly lasts for up to 24 hours at a time.
The polishes come in 10 different colours, from pink to metallic silver and gold.
The company claims the product won’t smudge when you eat and doesn’t have a taste – kind of like food colouring.
Depending on currency conversion rates, you can have colourful teeth for roughly €16.
“We see this becoming commonplace — everything from a club vibe to an everyday workplace fashion accent,” says David Silverstein, the New York City-based brand creator told the New York Post.
He suggests using the polish in your every day outfit planning.
“Perhaps you go to work with one tooth [that] matches your nail polish or your hair colour,” he said.
We’d consider this for Halloween or festivals, maybe. Would you pay €16 for pink or yellow teeth?
