The Simone Rocha X H&M Collaboration Sees Incredible Success On Launch Day

The hotly anticipated collection has finally arrived!

A collaboration that garnered buzz since the minute it was announced, the Simone Rocha X H&M collaboration launched on Thursday morning, March 11, with the majority of pieces in the womenswear section selling out in a matter of hours.

A joining of forces which was noted as “a tribute to Ireland, Hong Kong, texture, shape, tactility, history, family, intimacy and joy,” the collaboration features a selection of clothing for the whole family ranging from women’s and menswear to children.

A range the designer hopes is treasured and worn for decades to come, the partnership features some beautiful pieces which reflect both the brands, the change of season and the gradual move towards summer.

For women, think tulle dresses in pinks, tartan and classic black. As well as puff sleeves, organic cotton, broderie anglaise detailing, an incredible trench and divine accessories. A concoction that has made the collection a sell-out, with only a couple of items still remaining by noon on release day.

Speaking about creating the pieces for the new collection with H&M, Simone Rocha said:

“They were all informed by ideas and inspirations that have shaped me and my brand over the last 10 years, and I am so excited to see them worn out-and-about and interpreted and styled in new ways.”

Already seen on many of Ireland’s favourite influencers and bloggers, with the likes of Courtney Smith, Corina Gaffey, Loah Music, as well as international fashionistas like Emili Sindlev already rocking the collection; we can see why it has proved to be such a massive success.

Adding as to why Simone was the perfect fit for the new collaboration with H&M, the brand’s head of design, Ann-Sofie Johansson said:

“Simone has such a unique and special aesthetic.

“Season on season, she defines her identity. This feels like the perfect collection for this moment; a dynamic proposition from a female designer with such a clear sense of who she is, and what she wants to say. It is a joyful collection, that will hopefully enliven spirits and inspire,” she explained.

Well, we’re totally in awe and praying for a restock. You can shop the collection online here.
