This €6 Penneys Palette Looks Very Similar To Urban Decay’s Naked Heat…
But is it a dupe? Let us gather the evidence.
So as we’ve noticed before, Penneys are getting pretty fearless with their beauty products – remember their KKW Beauty-inspired contour sticks? Or the Glossier-aping ‘cloud creams’?
Now they’ve brought out the €6 Amber palette, which looks a lot like a certain €47.50 Urban Decay palette that came out last year.
But is it a true dupe for the Naked Heat?
Here’s the word from the YouTubers: While the Amber palette is not an exact dupe for the Naked Heat (the shades lean more bright and orange-toned), it will still do very nicely if you’ve got a Heat-shaped hole in your makeup collection.
Abi Braithwaite of The Petite Journal was very impressed, being a huge fan of the Urban Decay Palette:
I would actually really recommend this as an Urban Decay dupe. I’ve never tested Primark eyeshadows before but I thought they were really pigmented, not chalky, and I only had the tiniest bit of fall-out under my eyes.
YouTuber Tammi Clarke says that while she doesn’t believe it’s a true dupe, it’s still worth a go.
The packaging is definitely Urban Decay-inspired, but the UD shades are a lot deeper than the Primark one. It’s definitely good for the money and if you do like the shade selection, it performs well.
Good to know! Will you be keeping your eyes peeled for it in your local?
