TikTok is great for multiple things, keeping us company when we can’t sleep at 2am, providing the lols with dancing dogs, and of course sharing lots of handy life hacks that we’ll hold onto forever.

A TikTok user by the name of ‘jessmsheppard’ shared her secret to keeping her tan intact, even on those humid days.

While there’s nothing worse than destroying clothes with transfer from fake tan, Jess says that for this exact situation dry shampoo is your best friend.

“Literally just spray it under your armpits and the tan will stay put. You won’t have those awkward sweat patch marks, nothing!”

If your tan is prone to rubbing off in certain creases of your body too like your inner arms or underboob, dry shampoo can be used to help that too. Again, Jess says all you have to do it spritz it on the are in question and your tan will stay as is throughout the day.

If you don’t have any dry shampoo lying around the house, baby powder will do the job just nicely too. Simply dust it over the areas you need to and you’re good to go.
