What Nadine’s Wearing: A Beyoncé-Inspired ‘Lemonade’ Dress, And The Faux-Fur Coat Of Dreams

In her new column, Nadine Reid models the most fabulous fashion for curvier gals.

In her new column, TV personality and make-up artist Nadine Reid tries the latest trends for curvy women, says #effyourbeautystandards and wears what she feels fabulous in. This month, she’s sporting some looks from Marks & Spencer.

Comfy

“I have too much booty and belly to pull off jeans in an elegant way. However under a super cute marshmallow faux fur coat, not much was seen. The coat became the focus and I loved it! I am not instinctively drawn to pastels and neutral tones, so wearing the bright scarf as a turban was all the pop of colour my soul needed to bring it together. I enjoy looking feminine and showing off my curves, for my size 20/22 and height dresses are more of a go to for me. I felt like a warm Caribbean chocolate cupcake with marshmallow frosting.”

Coat, €125, top, €30, jeans, €80, all M&S. Headscarf, €30, Debenhams. Boots are Nadine’s own

Glamorous

“Yassssss! There were a few other options STELLAR fashion editor Aideen brought for me to choose from. Although I loved the colour of this dress immediately I wasn’t sure the high neck length would work on a curvy short body type like mine. When I put it on I was like wow! I love this! Great choice, Aideen! This look felt like I was ‘lemonading’ in the 70s and swapped Beyoncé’s bat for a red beret! It moved nicely, was comfortable, elegant and even the length was wearable for my five foot two height. A perfect colour for the season, absolutely lovedddddd it!”

Dress, €95, heels, €45, both from M&S. Beret is Nadine’s own
