On a budget this weekend? You don't have to spend a fortune to have fun. We've rounded up the best activities across Ireland that'll sting you a fiver or less.
Canalaphonic music and culture festival
Catch the Canalaphonic Music And Culture Festival, happening Friday and Saturday throughout Portobello and Rathmines. There’ll be a stack of gigs in 22 different venues throughout the area, boutique markets, free barge trips, pop-up acoustic sets, comedy shows and so much more. Check the deets here.
Independent fairs and markets
This weekend there’s an independent pop-up market fair happening on the lovely banks of Grand Canal. There’s gonna be live music and lots of lovely things to feast your eyes on. Merrion Square balloon release for equality
On Sunday at 2PM in Merrion Square Dublin 2, you can show your support for marriage equality by taking part in a balloon release. With voting day just around the corner, it’s really important to get involved and show your support. Plus, who doesn’t love watching hundreds of balloons being released into the air?! Outdoor yoga
