5 Deadly Things To Do This Weekend
From nabbing 50% off at the River Island summer sale to hitting up Yoga Hub's birthday BBQ; here are five fun things to keep you busy this weekend.
River Island summer sale
First and foremost, if you didn’t already know, River Island have started a MASSIVE summer sale today and they’ve got a tone of deals both online and in store. Check it out early. You won’t be disappointed.
Yoga bash in Camden Place
You know we love our yoga so this party is definitely getting a mention. This Saturday Yoga Hub’s Camden Place studio is throwing a big bash to celebrate their 1st brithday, which is not only BYOB but there’ll be a big game of outdoor Twister, a HappyFood vegan BBQ, a fantastic DJ and plenty more exciting things taking place. There will also be some delicious craft beer from the lovely Rascals Brewing Co. Here are the deets.
Laya city spectacular
This is a free festival taking place this weekend in Dublin and next weekend in Cork. It’s offering a feast of entertainment including street performances, silent discos, trampoline missions, an entire food village and a layabout area in the middle of the festival where you can plonk yourself down on a trampoline. Whatever you’re after, you’ll find something very enjoyable here, so get yourself to Merrion Square this weekend.
Ha’Penny vintage & craft market
This market has a variety of stalls selling a variety of vintage threads, vinyl records, contemporary crafts and handmade jewellery, accessories and clothes. It’s an indoor market taking place on Saturday in The Grand Social from 12-6 so if the sun is shining and you don’t want to be inside for too long, you should still pop the head in and have a mosey about at some stage. There will also be some great music playing and beers flowing at the bar if you’re in the mood some day drinking.
Home grown food festival
If you’re a bit of a foodie, this Saturday Letterkenny will welcome a selection of celebrity chefs to the Institute Of Technology on Saturday and Sunday. There’ll be cooking demonstrations and masterclasses, homemaking tutorials and even wine masterclasses, so if you fancy yourself as the hostess with the mosses, get yourself here. Celeb chefs include Darina Allen and Gary O’Hanlon from TV3’s The Restaurant.
