6 Pimped-Up Prosecco Cocktails You Can Make In Under A Minute
That's tonight sorted, so.
It might not be sunny outside yet, but in our opinion there’s never a bad time to swap your glass of wine for a glass of Prosecco.
The best part? If you have a minute or two and some fresh fruit, cordial or bitters, you can make a damn good Prosecco cocktail.
Here are a few of our favourites Prosecco add-ins…
Go tropical
In a chilled prosecco flute, add the juice of half an orange and the flesh of half a passion fruit. Top up with Prosecco and serve.
Make a gin fizz
Pour 20ml of gin and 20ml of any summer fruit cordial (we like elderflower, because we have notions) into a glass, and top with cold Prosecco and a few sprigs of mint.
Mix up your mimosa
Use blood orange or grapefruit juice instead of orange juice for a slightly tangier version of a classic mimosa. Use 1/3 juice to 2/3 Prosecco for the perfect combo.
Make your drink sparkle
Three dashes of Angostura bitters and a sugar cube topped up with Prosecco will make a gorgeously fizzy drink.
Go Canadian
Instead of cordial, try two teaspoons of maple syrup, plus 50 mls cranberry juice. Shake the mix up with ice in a shaker, then pour into a glass and top with 100ml Prosecco. Stir and serve!
Keep it summery
Nectarines are in season now, so make the most of it. Peel and cut three nectarines, and push into a fine mesh sieve to strain the liquid. Use a spoon to fill a glass with 1/3 nectarine juice. Top with 2/3 Prosecco and enjoy!
