Dublin’s Stella Theatre Is Showing Old Classics Every Friday And It Sounds Like The Perfect Mate Date
Bubbles, chocolates and a movie - what more could you want?
Are you one of the few people lucky enough to get off work early on a Friday? Well Dublin’s Stella Theatre has just the thing to kick off your weekend.
We absolutely love when cinemas screen old movies. The Lighthouse in Smithfield have always done it, and last summer’s outdoor cinema in Merrion Square was a huge hit. Now, the Stella in Rathmines has hopped on the bandwagon and will be showing some classic flicks every Friday.
The events, fittingly named Afternoon Delights, will kick off at 3:30pm – tickets to the screening will cost €19, which includes a glass of bubbles and chocolates on arrival.
The first showing on March 16th is of the Audrey Hepburn classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s:
The for March is as follows:
16th: Breakfast at Tiffany’s
23rd: When Harry Met Sally
30th: Casablanca
And for April:
6th: Four Weddings and a Funeral
13th: Gigi
20th: Pretty Woman
27th: Sabrina (1954)
This sounds like the perfect girly date!
