Earlier this year, rumours swirled that Topshop would be reopening its doors.
In March, Topshop posted a series of posts with the captions “WE MISSED YOU TOO” and “We’ve been listening.”
They also shared a Reel depicting two models standing on a rooftop beneath a Topshop sign.
Back in 2021, Topshop was sold to ASOS, meaning that the fast fashion brand would now only be available to buy online and via the ASOS app.

Last year, however, the digital giant sold 75 per cent of Topshop and Topman to Danish retailer Bestseller.
Now it has been confirmed that Topshop will now be stocked in Shaw’s Department Stores around the country.
It will be stocked in six out of 14 Shaws locations including Limerick, Waterford, Wexford, Castlebar, Ballina and Portlaoise.
However we’re sure that it will expand to the remaining locations around Ireland.

Topshop will also have a home in McElhinneys in Ballybofey in Donegal. So it really is back with a bang!
Topshop’s website currently reads ‘coming soon’ with a link to buy on ASOS. So it looks like it could also be relaunching independently online. They teased the date 29th August on social media so keep your eyes peeled!
Topshop went into administration in 2020 and was bought by ASOS, along with Topman and Miss Selfridge, in 2021.
ASOS later said that they weren’t ruling out Topshop’s return to the high street. “We might open stores. We will consider it for sure but we have no specific agreement to open a certain number,” they said.
At its peak, Topshop had over 500 stores across the UK, Ireland, and beyond. Obsessed.
