Ok, divine.

Nothing beats a good old sandwich. Honestly what a creation. It’s so simple yet the skies are limitless when it comes to making one.

Like anything, it is always nice to have your food plated up to you and luckily for us, the most unique sandwich shops have been popping up all around the country.

Some have taken the art of making a sandwich to a whole other dimension… literally.

So, without further ado, here are STELLAR’s top 10 sandwich shops around Ireland for the perfect bites of gold, on the go.

1. Matt’s Sandwiches – Co. Galway

Maybe I’m a little biased, but Matt has got to have the most insanely delicious sandwiches in the country. Freshly made and packaged with so much love. The Delani is a personal fave.

2. Crumbs – Carrick On Shannon, Co. Leitrim

One of Carrick’s hidden gems, and with sandwiches to die for. I can confirm.

3. Amuri – Dublin

Sicilian sandwich shop, and apparently the best one in Dublin at that!

4. Hey Darling – Naas, Co. Kildare

It’s giving, girl next door vibes. Located in Morell Manor, Naas, this quaint little café has the best-tasting coffee, an array of unique sandwiches and it’s dog friendly.

5. Mrs Reid’s – Dublin

You can almost hear the crunch when looking at a sandwich from Mrs Reid’s.

6. Twenty Sandwich Bar – Co. Cork

Famous for its show-stopper sandwiches, baguettes and subs. Sandwiches done old-school.

7. Mo Chara – Dundalk

This isn’t just any old pub. Mo Chara is a community, where people can bond over good food, great beer and even better company.. and they’ve got some unreal sambos too.

8. Grangecon Kitchen – Co. Wicklow

Whilst the village is still asleep, these women are kneading dough, baking sweet treats, and prepping beautiful sandwiches for all to enjoy when they awake. Greeted with big smiles and friendly faces… what better way to spend a morning in Grangecon?
