Watch: Saoirse Ronan Heads Up Group Of Irish Celebrities Calling For A Yes Vote In New Video
Saoirse Ronan has become the latest Irish celebrity to come out in favour of #RepealTheEight, as she stars in a new video alongside some famous Irish faces.
The Together For Yes campaign video features Saoirse, Cillian Murphy, Liam Cunningham, Pauline McLynn and Tom Vaughan Lawlor as well as some other well known Irish names calling for the Irish public to vote yes to repeal the eight amendment in the upcoming referendum on May 25th.

Some of Ireland’s top designers are taking part in a ‘Fashion is Repealing’ project, and designing pieces based on what #RepealTheEight means to them, with names such as Emma Manley, Helen Steele and Chupi all getting involved.
“As the referendum mostly affects women, we wanted to work with the Irish fashion industry to create a visual conversation within an industry primarily absorbed by women,” Founder of The HunReal issues Andrea Horan told us.
“We worked with the best designers and makers to come up with some of the most powerful responses to the fight for reproductive rights in Ireland. Whoever is lucky enough to end up with these pieces will be getting a piece of fashion history.”
