Ard Bia – Galway

Ard Bia has always placed as much emphasis on community experiences and aesthetic stimulation as on serving great food in a fun environment.

The team believes in having roots in a place whilst having an identity that transcends location and takes inspiration from around the world.

The vegan-friendly menu includes Kilbeggan oat granola for breakfast, roast aubergine for lunch and sweet potato gnocchi for mains, with wild mushrooms, cauliflower, kohlrabi and almonds.

The Sea Rooms – Wexford

This is a fabulous new stand-alone, two-storey restaurant with exquisite views of Kelly’s beautiful gardens and the Irish Sea, the menus reflect the location mixed with more traditional dishes with supplies of vegetables, salads and herbs from “Kelly’s Kitchen Gardens”.

In keeping with the ethos of Kelly’s, the team has sourced some of the best and most well-known food producers who share the same food ethos.

Seriously, the perfect place to try out your vegan palate.

Vincenzo’s Grill House – Limerick

Vincenzo’s Grill House is a reincarnation of an Italian restaurant and now a retro-styled eatery offering dishes made with locally sourced food to please a multitude of tastes.

Vincenzo’s is located within the George Hotel, which in turn is tightly woven into Limerick city’s vibrant heart.

There’s a great Meat Free Burger for vegans, as well as a Mushroom Tortellini in the pasta section. As well as a fabulous vegan pizza! See we told you that you didn’t have to go without!

Zuni – Kilkenny

Step back in time to 1902 when The Empire Theatre graced this spot here on Patrick Street, Kilkenny! Evolving over time into The Kilkenny Theatre and then Stallards Theatre, the allure of this spot grew with each chapter.

Preserving its rich history, Zuni now stands as a testament to the past, blending old and new. Only the facade and the Box Office cocktail bar, which was the original box office for the theatre, remain from the historic building.

There are lunch and dinner menus, with fantastic vegan options on each. Try the Turmeric and Ginger Hummus, it’s fantastic and comes with pickled baby carrots, bulgar wheat quinoa, edamame beans, spring onion, roast sweet potato, crispy chickpeas, salsa verde and garlic flatbread.

Krispy Kreme – Nationwide

Want a sweet treat? Well worry not because you can even get vegan doughnuts!

Krispy Kreme has launched a new limited edition vegan cookie indulgence range which features Cookies & Kreme and Chocolate Cookie Crunch!

The range is available until January 28th so we suggest you try this out before it’s all gone.

Subway – Nationwide

And if you are looking for something for a lunchtime treat then you can get vegetarian and plant-based options from Subway!

The Plant Picante will landed in stores nationwide from January 10th.

It features a hot and spicy plant patty, crispy onions, plus Sweet Onion and Garlic & Herb sauces – topped with either American-style cheese or Vegan CheeZe for a 100 per cent plant-based option. Sure how could you say no!?

Boojum – Nationwide

Modelled off the traditional Latin American dish, [MOCK] Carne Asada is rich, sweet, smoky and is even paired with a new Guajillo Chilli dipping sauce.
