Dublin
SMS Cervi
Few things scream ‘warm and cozy’ like fish and chips, and this restaurant offers the perfect takeaway classic with the finest ingredients. With traditional sides like peas, onion rings and salads, as well as the option to go fancy with a half roast chicken with mash, peas and gravy, you’ll be full and satisfied in no time.
Carluccio’s
Neighbourhood favourite, Carluccio’s, serves authentic and affordable Italian classics like fresh fish and primo pastas. Our personal fave is the beef steak alla griglia, and whatever you choose, order yourself some rosemary and garlic potatoes on the side. They’re like a little bowl of heaven for just €4.50.
Boojum
Forget warmers, because a burrito from Boojum is hot, hot hot! Their menu is not just simple, but award winning, and team STELLAR is obsessed. We order this from Deliveroo *at least* once a week, with extra tortilla chips for good measure. If you’re not a burrito fan, try the restaurant’s famous bowls instead. Amazing value with prices starting from €6.60.
Galway
Curry & Spice
We told you Deliveroo was varied, and we weren’t lying. If curry is your thing, try this authentic Indian menu in Galway. With gluten free and vegan options, this is a great choice for anyone with dietary requirements, and their tandoori butter chicken just melts in your mouth. Winter warming at its finest!
The Pie Maker
If you’re in the mood for a home-cooked meal but don’t want to make it yourself, allow Deliveroo to bring you these delicious, savoury pies. This restaurant’s pies are served with a choice of either ‘mashed potatoes, braised red cabbage, mushy peas and their homemade gravy, so you’re guaranteed to get that filling, homely vibe.
Limerick
Aroi
Is Asian food your jam? Check out this hearty menu of noodles, stir-fries and curries. We hear the pineapple fried rice is a local favourite, and with a wine list available for delivery too, you’ll be warm and fuzzy before you’ve even finished your plate. Top tip: order your meal while you’re on the commute home so that it arrives shortly after you do. Why wait, eh?
Milano
When someone mentions a snug night in, the vision of a crisp, Italian pizza goes hand-in-hand. The joy of Deliveroo is that restaurant quality pizzas can be delivered straight to your door, so you can enjoy the luxury of eating out while sitting on the sofa. You can also order from Milano’s dessert menu – what more could you want?
Cork
The SpitJack Rotisserie Deli
This place gives us that warm, Christmassy feeling, and it’s the perfect spot if you’re feeding a whole family. The ‘Family Feast’ bundle includes a whole West Cork chicken, 24-hour brined with rosemary, thyme and lemon. They serve it with two rotisserie potatoes with rotisserie meat cute ends, two Caesar salads and gravy! It’s the perfect meal to have delivered to your door, right?
Four Liars Bistro
While this restaurant’s menu is international, the chef uses only the finest of local ingredients and its specialties include succulent steaks, tempting chicken dishes, pasta dishes and local seafood. With a vegetarian menu and dessert menu too, there’s a wholesome option for everyone, regardless of taste.
