Genius Or Deceptive? This Woman Figured Out How To Make A Small Fortune From Her Tinder Account

All it took was a simple change to her bio.

Girl Using An iPhone

Given the amount of time we spend swiping back and forth on Tinder, it’d be pretty neat if we could monetise our efforts.

That’s exactly what 20-year-old Maggie Archer did when she devised a sneaky plan to make some extra spends from her Tinder matches.

All Maggie did was change her bio to read: “Send me $5, see what happens.”

So simple, right? But surely no lad would actually fall for it, would they?

Wrong. Turns out loads of them do and Maggie’s got the screenshots to prove it.

Once she’s matched with a guy and he enquires about her intriguing $5 bio, Maggie asks them to send through the money on Paypal, while keeping the surprise a mystery.

Then, once she’s received the cash she… unmatches them.

“It’s really a foolproof plan, because I’m not actually promising anything, I just say ‘see what happens,'” Maggie told Buzzfeed News.

Maggie’s Paypal is proof that she’s earned herself a nice little earner from it too. Look:

She even claims that loads of men have offered her more than $5, with some even suggesting they pay her hundreds of dollars.

Sounds like a foolproof plan, but we’re pretty certain Tinder will catch on to Maggie’s scam sooner or later.
