Keeper! Justin Theroux’s Thanksgiving Surprise For Jennifer Aniston Was Too Sweet

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are a notoriously private pair, but when they do share behind-the-scenes snippets from their relationship they make sure they’re good’uns.

Speaking on The Ellen Show this week, Jennifer revealed the lengths her husband went to to give her a smile on Thanksgiving. Initially thinking he’d have to work in Germany over the holiday weekend, the actor made it home at the last minute – but kept his arrival a surprise until halfway through the couple’s annual “Friendsgiving” get-together.

“Everyone came to the house and no one really understood Justin was not going to be there,” Jennifer recalled of the beginning of the meal.

The actress joked that her guests were “depressed” and “sombre” without her other half’s presence. “I gave the toast at the head of the dinner table, which is usually me and Justin. I gave, I guess, a very unimpressive toast where people were like ‘meh, great. Let’s eat,'” she explained.

“Then salads came out and everyone was just very somber and next thing you know, turkey walks in and there was another turkey holding that turkey. That was my hubby. He came in with the turkey.”

D’aaaaaw. Sweet or what?!

The couple, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary in August 2016, are the epitome of Chilled Relationship Goals, but they’re as loved-up as ever underneath it all. “I think marriage taught me to settle a little bit. It does have a calming effect,” Justin told Elle earlier this year.
