Happy birthday Kim Kardashian.

The queen of reality TV turned 40 on Wednesday and so, to celebrate, we’ve got a little bit of Kardashian trivia for you –  testing your knowledge on how well you really know one of the show’s shining stars, our Kimmy.

As Keeping Up With The Kardashians waves goodbye to the end of an era next year after 20 seasons, it’s a tough blow for Kardashian fans like ourselves, but it really just gives us an excuse to binge watch the whole series from the beginning again (old episodes are on Netflix, btw!)

But for now, it’s time to brush up on your Kim K knowledge with some interesting facts about the star to mark her 40th birthday.

1. For Kim’s sweet 16th she received her first car – a white BMW from her dad, Robert Kardashian.

2. Kim once admitted that she heats her jewellery with a blow dryer before she puts it on as she can’t stand cold jewellery.

She even tweeted the fact in 2011.

3. Caitlyn Jenner noted Kim as the “most empathetic and easiest to talk to” out of all the KarJenner family and so, told her first about her transition to Caitlyn.

4. Kim Kardashian loves a good selfie, so much so, she was taking them before they were even popular.

Kim Kardashian admitted in her book Selfish that she took her first selfie in 1984, aged four.

Pretty impressive.

5. Kim never wanted her wedding to Kanye to be on KUWTK, but it was his idea to include some footage. 

Kim revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that her assistant filmed her wedding to Kanye at Forte di Belvedere, Italy on a handycam.

“We had no intention of showing our wedding on the show,” revealed Kim back in 2014, however, she then added that Kanye liked what they captured so much that they decided to include some of the footage in the finale for season 9.

6. It takes Kim two hours to prepare for shooting KUWTK. 

Not only do the Kardashians shoot for 10 to 12 hours per day, it takes Kim two hours in hair and makeup ahead of this. Revealing that she gets her hair and makeup done for every day they’re shooting, Kim told Paper that she usually starts her day at 5am with a workout, before prepping for a long and busy day.

7. Kim was the first person to speak on KUWTK. The first ever line was her saying “I hate you all” in the pilot episode.
