The Blink 182 drummer is on everyone’s mind this week following last weekend when he spoiled his new girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian with one serious floral bouquet for her 42nd birthday.

Also going Insta official-official (see above) sharing the first selection of pictures of the pair looking seriously loved up, this is the first time the pair have properly declared their love to each other online, besides some flirty IG comment swaps, a tattoo and a photo of their hands interlocked; you get what we mean!

Taking to Instagram, Travis dropped the L-bomb admitting that he loves Kourtney and hopes she has the best birthday ever.

So, now that we know this coupling is solid and we’re bound to see a lot more of these two online together, what do we need to know about Travis Barker and his newfound Kardashian acceptance?

1. Travis has children (well, they’re all pretty grown up now!)

Travis is the biological father to two children, 17-year-old Landon Asher Barker and 15-year-old Alabama Luella Barker from his marriage to Shanna Moakler – which ended after four years in 2008. However, Travis also sees himself like a father to his stepchild from Shanna’s previous marriage, Atiana De La Hoya, who is 21-years-old.

2. Travis and Kourtney are neighbours

In terms of knowing each other and their kids getting to know each other, Travis and Kourtney relationship didn’t come with any frosty “nice to meet you” receptions as this lot are all pretty close already with their kids practically growing up together in Calabasas, Los Angeles. Ideal!

3. Travis has been on KUWTK

Sealing the deal on how real their friendship actually is, Travis has previously starred on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, making cameo appearances at parties and in one episode calls over to the family whereby Kourtney explains their relationship.

“Our neighbour and friend, Travis Barker, decided to come over because his kids and my kids are really good friends,” she explains on the episode and that was in 2017!

4. Travis almost died in 2008

Long before meeting Kourtney or the Kardashians rise to fame, when Blink 182 were prominent in the music scene, Travis was in a plane crash that almost cost him his life. With four out of six people on the plane losing their lives, Travis and his DJ friend Adam Goldstein were the only two to survive after the plane they were travelling on crashed, with Travis jumping out the emergency exit before it caught fire and blew up. The rockstar needed 27 surgeries following the crash after burning 65% of his body.

5. Travis is a vegan

Following the plane crash, Travis made many a change to his lifestyle including going fully vegan. Explaining that he hasn’t looked back since, Travis told the Men’s Journal that he now has endless energy.

“I can go all day, and after it all I never find myself getting tired. No matter what kind of shows I have done, or workouts I do on top of it, I still have to force myself to sleep at night,” he confessed.

6. Travis has Kourtney’s name tattooed on his chest

The Blink 182 drummer got Kourtney’s name tattooed above his right nipple in a declaration of love earlier this month. The new Kourtney ink appears to be etched over a previous tattoo in the same place.

7. The 45-year-old has his own clothing line

Between Scott, Rob and Kanye, the men of the Kardashian clan love an ol’ clothing line and Travis is no different, with his own brand of urban attire Famous Stars and Straps inspired by all the things he loves including music, art and cars.

8. Travis’ mother died when he was 13-years-old

Travis lost his mom at a very young age, dying of cancer after being diagnosed only three months earlier. According to the musician, even when he was young his mom was aware of his talents and it was her dying wish for him to pursue his passions.

9. Before music, Travis worked as a waste collector

Speaking to US Weekly, Travis revealed that long before the music career took off, he worked as a “trash man in California’s Laguna Beach”.

10. Nobu is one of his favourite restaurants

Well, if there was ever a match made in heaven – a hotspot of Kourtney Kardashian’s, it appears as though Travis is also a major fan of the Nobu restaurant chain, explaining that his favourite dish is the corn tempura.
