It’s the season for drinking everything (and we mean everything) chilled.

It’s humid, it’s sticky, and to be honest, there’s nothing better than a refreshing drink with a hit of caffeine to get you through the working day and the inevitable countdown to the coming weekend.

Yep, iced coffee season is well and truly in session, folks and although we adore setting our money alight by buying these bad boys in every coffee shop we come across, it’s also a nice activity to whip them up yourself; especially when you get those late evening pangs for one!

SO, we’ve hunted around the internet to find the best recipes we could possibly get our mitts on and well, here’s what you need to be mixing up ASAP.

Vietnamese Iced Coffee via @allrecipes 

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 litre water
  • 50g dark roast ground coffee beans or to taste
  • 125ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 ice cubes

Vanilla Bean Frappuccino via @maebells

Ingredients

  • 500ml milk (or plant milk)
  • ice
  • 125g whipped cream (low-carb or coconut whipped cream work too)
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and inside scooped out
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, sugar)

Baileys Iced Coffee – via @Baileys

Ingredients 

  • 100ml Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • 2 large scoops vanilla ice-cream
  • 300ml whole milk
  • 300ml freshly brewed and cooled coffee, plus 2tbsp

To decorate 

  • 150ml double cream, whipped
  • 40g dark or milk chocolate, melted or 2tbsp of chocolate sauce
  • 2tbsp chopped toasted hazelnuts
  • 1 butter crisp biscuit, chopped
