This inspirational flick tells the story of Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards, who became England’s unlikely ski-jump hero in the 88′ Olympics. This is a serious feel-good film with a father-son relationship that’ll have you weeping.

When Harry met Sally.

After years of friendship, a witty man and quirky woman face a dangerous challenge to their relationship: love. This rom-com classic will have you laughing and crying as you watch the two main characters stumble through their love life.

Adventureland.

Unable to afford the European adventure he’d dreamed of, recent college graduate James Brennan reluctantly takes a summer gig at an amusement park. It stars Jesse Eisenberg – need I say more.

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. 

This tale follows 14-year-old Georgia Nicholson as she attempts to woo Robbie, one half of a pair of  twins. If you feel like switching your brain off for a couple of hours, this one’s perfect.

Good Will Hunting.

When professors discover that an aimless janitor is also a math genius, a therapist helps the young man confront the demons that are holding him back. This movie is such a classic! Starring the late Robin Williams and Matt Damon – honestly what more would you want to look at on a miserable day.
