5 Things Team STELLAR Can’t Stop Talking About This Week

What we're loving, recommending and grateful for this week.

We won’t lie, it feels very nice to have a busy schedule again and as we head towards Christmas, we know things are only going to get more busy. So, taking a little time out once a week, team STELLAR reflect on the bits they’re swooning over, the things they’ve enjoyed doing and news that just must be shared!

Denise is loving… prepping for the InstaStars!

This week is all go and I won’t lie, I kind of love how crazy busy it is! I’ve forgotten how exciting it is to bring an event to life and this weekend, November 6th, we’re going to be honouring the best content creators across Ireland at our first ever hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards. Be sure to keep up with all the fun by following us on Instagram @stellarmagazine and checking out our hashtag #hayuInstaStar; it’s going to be a fun one!

Amie is loving… getting glam again!

Much like Denise, I’m raring to go for the InstaStars this weekend. But I’ve almost forgotten how fun the lead up to something glam is. There have been 101 discussions about outfits, the fretting over said outfit’s arrival, makeup, hair, tan and everything in between. I already know it’s gonna be just GORGE getting glammed up for a big night again. I already have my sequin mask at the ready.

I’ve gone all out and even went and got myself a fabulous hydrafacial thanks to the gals at Buff Day Spa. My skin is temperamental at best, but I won’t even play down the fact that I was GLOWING when I skipped out of the salon. And of course, it’s disgustingly satisfying to see what they manage to draw out of your skin during the hydrafacial process. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a little something something ahead of the Christmas season, check out their treatments here.

Denise is loving… The Book Of Mormon

Theatre and musicals are back and this November and December, The Book Of Mormon, Broadway’s smash hit musical is running for five weeks at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. I was lucky enough to see the show on Thursday night and let me tell you, it was the most I’ve laughed in a long while. From the set design to the dancing, singing and all round performance, the show is a spectacle and most definitely worth seeing as a festive treat this season.

Thankfully, if you haven’t got your hands on tickets yet, there’s still some available with lots of choice on nights, just click here for more information.

Amie is loving… Kiss Falscara Lashes

These have been sitting in my makeup drawer for what felt like forever, but when I finally got the chance to try them out I understood the hype completely. If you’re looking for natural, yet gorgeously glam lashes that don’t require a tonne of patience with a hint of a tantrum to apply, you’ll love these. Easy to apply, easy to remove and they look so like eyelash extensions that it’s almost scary.

Denise is loving… knee high boots and the return of the winter wardrobe

Don’t get me wrong, I love summer but every year it comes to *that* stage when I get tired of sandals and floral dresses and I want chunky knits, tights and boots back in my life.  And this year was like no other, so when those feelings started to creep in, I treated myself to a pair of winter boots. These gorge ones from Monki. I’m so excited to pair them with every outfit from now until spring. Shop them here!

Catch us again next week again when we’ll be chatting all about the highlights from our first IRL event in over two years! Plus all the other bits that make us go swoon.
