5 Things Team STELLAR Has Been Loving This Week

What we're doing, recommending and grateful for this week.

Another busy week and oh, how lovely it is to say the word ‘busy’ again. Seeing events return, restrictions fully lift and life resume feels like something we didn’t think would ever grace us again this time last year when we were knee deep in lockdowns.

But now, we’re focusing on the present and shouting about all the fun things we’re doing and loving this week! Giving you a little snippet into STELLAR life, here’s what has us talking in the office this week.

Denise is loving… Chicago the Musical

Chicago has landed at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Razzle and dazzling us for the next week, with the show taking place until April 16th, it’s most definitely worth seeing before it’s gone. I headed to the opening night on Wednesday, April 6th and I absolutely adored the show and the fact it was crammed with all the hits from All That Jazz to Mr Cellophane and of course, The Cell block Tango.

Leading the cast is ‘Three Degrees’ soul singing legend Sheila Ferguson who stars as ‘Mama Morton’ with singing sensation Russell Watson as Billy Flynn, TV star Faye Brooks (Coronation Street) as Roxie Hart and West End star Djalenga Scott as Velma Kelly.

Winner of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and a Grammy, Chicago is the longest running American musical in Broadway and West End history.

Tickets from €21.00 are on sale now. For more see www.bordgaisenergytheatre.ie

Adele is loving… Happy Endings for dinner & drinks

I love finding new spots to have dinner and drinks in, so you can imagine my delight when I stumbled across Happy Endings on Aston Quay. I highly recommend the poutine fries, best guzzled down with a margarita. If you’re not there to get litty to the titty they also have some divine non-alcoholic cocktail and lemonade options too – and all very decently priced.

Jade is loving…He-shi Face & Body Tanning Gel

Tan Thursdays are back in full swing thanks to the return of the social life. As someone whose skin can be sensitive to some formulas, I always love finding one that applies seamlessly with no irritation. Right now I am loving the He-shi Face & Body Tanning Gel. The gel consistency is super hydrating and it is really gentle on my skin. The medium shade gives the perfect golden tan whether you just need a glow as a pick me up or you’re heading out on the town. If you’re someone who struggles with dry patches and irritation with tan this may be worth a try!

Denise is loving… Sprout Tofu Satay Bowls for lunch

Genuinely, who knew salads could taste so delicious?! Not this girl. But earlier this week I had my first ever Sprout (late to the party, I know!) Ordered off Deliveroo, I got the Tofu Satay Bowl and I honestly wished it lasted forever. Spinach, pickled cucumber, chunks of tofu and the most moreish peanut satay sauce, lads, I’d have it everyday if I could.

Anything bright and maximalist will always catch my eye, Iris Apfel for H&M is like a dream crossover. Bold colours, bright prints, this collection isn’t for the faint-hearted, but it went down an absolute treat when it launched earlier this week, selling out almost immediately. Our fashion editor, Zeda, created the most insane lookbook styling some of the pieces from the collection and it is *chefs kiss*.
