5 Things Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Here's what we're liking, loving and doing this week!

It’s been a busy few weeks here at STELLAR, between summer holidays, festivals, events and general life, having a *proper* summer for the first time since 2019 feels like a breath of fresh air and let me tell you, we’re welcoming it with open arms and truly running on no sleep to make sure we see, do, and eat everything! Le dream, right?

So, here’s what we’re loving, raving and chatting about in the office this week!

Denise loves… her new set of luggage!

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t chuck out a suitcase until it’s on its last – and I mean last legs. We’re talking broken zips and handles. And just before the summer, that’s exactly the state my old case was in. In need of a total suitcase refresh, I kindly got sent a set of three new cases from luxury luggage and suitcase brand, Antler. Let me tell you, I feel like a new woman!

I got the Clifton set of three cases in navy, which neatly stack into each other for storage and come with a 10 year warranty – which is just what I need. Antler has also recently launched in Ireland meaning you can shop the cases here with just the click of a button! How gorge!

Jade loves… Adam Sandler Summer

Yes, it’s the fashion trend I’ve been seeing all over my social media and I am here for it. Adam Sandler is the unassuming style icon we didn’t know we needed, the mantra? Comfort is key. Who doesn’t love that?

Amelia Gray Hamlin even shared that she has jumped on the Adam Sandler core trend on her stories last week, proving even the it girls are prioritising comfort.

Baggy t-shirts, oversized shirts (maybe even with a funky print) and comfy longer shorts are the move for the warmer weather, because why be uncomfortable and sweating?! Add your fave runners, some shades and maybe even a hat to this look and you’re good to go.

Ellen loves… having a glowing skin moment! 

It feels like every major beauty brand is taking a crack at the cream bronzer trend at the moment, and I’m delighted, to be honest. With glowy skin being so on trend at the moment it’s no surprise that powder formulas are being overtaken by their cream counterparts! Brands like Charlotte Tilbury and Nars have recently released their own versions, but there are plenty of cheaper alternatives like E.L.F’s Putty Bronzer available too! Cream bronzer blends seamlessly with foundation but also works well on bare skin, so it makes that natural sunkissed look easier than ever to achieve. Obsessed.

Denise loves… that Electric Picnic is back, baby! 

The last limited number of Electric Picnic tickets went on sale today, Wednesday August 3rd exclusively through 3Plus. The last chance to nab your entry to Ireland’s biggest festival and welcome it back after a long three year wait! Were you lucky enough to score a ticket?

One of my favourite parts of Electric Picnic every year has got to be the 3Charge&Chill area and thankfully, it’s set to make a welcome return. Prepare for it to be bigger and better than every before with an exciting music stage to be announced soon – buzzing!

Jade loves… Ekinde

Love Island is over for another year (sob), and I do not know what to do with myself when 9pm rolls around these days…Whatever did we do without it?

One thing I am delighted about now that the series has come to a close, is that Ekin-Su and Davide are entering the real world. My favourite pairing on the show, I was delighted to see them take home the money, I let out a squeal and a fist pump once Laura announced their names. That is so cringe, guilty x.

And with the voting numbers coming out it seems that majority of viewers felt the same.

These two took part in reviving the show to its former glory, a turbulent romance that had a happy ending, constantly providing us with one-liners and iconic moments. Plus, they are so CUTE!

I will be following their journey outside the villa and just hope they secure a show of their own at some point!
