7 Celebrity Friendships That Prove Our Gal Pals Can Be Our Lobsters

Thank you for being a friiieeeeend...

What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than to pay homage to some of our best girl friends? Some people say that our friends are actually our soulmates – the family we choose for ourselves. Here at STELLAR HQ, we firmly believe that with a strong girl gang, one can achieve almost anything!

In keeping with the International Women’s Day celebrations, we’ve compiled a list of seven celeb BFF’s who are slaying the best friend game.

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox really are the best of ‘Friends’. The two have been inseparable since meeting on the set of the TV show over two decades ago. They’ve been by each other’s sides through some serious boy troubles and are as thick as thieves. In fact, back in 2014 Jen told More magazine that Courteney is “extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving”. Aww.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

The funny ladies shared the screen on Saturday Night Live for years, but their friendship actually blossomed in the ’90s while they were both studying improv in Chicago. We want to be invited to a party with Tina and Amy, please.

Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz

Drew was just 14 and worked at a coffeehouse when she first met 16-year-old Cameron, who was a model at the time. This friendship has lasted longer than most Hollywood relationships. On Cameron, Drew has said “she has made me feel beyond beautiful. Always has. Always will”. We’re not crying, you are.

Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps

This duo met back during their Dawson’s Creek days and have kept up their close friendship ever since. “I’m so in love with her,” Michelle said during an interview with PEOPLE. “She’s proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man! That’s the love of my life right there.”

Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods.

These two have been friends since they were little rich babies. They’re both super involved in each other’s social media lives and are so close that Jordyn was even present when Kylie took her pregnancy test. When asked about having a best friend like Kylie, Jordyn told PEOPLE: “I feel like right now, at this age, you develop the friends that you’re going to love forever, and we do everything together.”

Khloé Kardashian and Malika Haqq

Khloé and Malika have been best friends since childhood, and Malika often appears on episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Before Malika had her own career, she was also Khloé’s personal assistant. Although these two have been seen to bicker on the show quite a bit, Malika has said that they “fight like sisters”. We can relate.

Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams

These gals met on the set of Game of Thrones when they were just kids – now the on-screen sisters spend hours on and off the screen. Speaking about Maisie to INSIDER, Turner said “She’s my best friend, she’s my soul mate. I love that girl to pieces.”

These friendships prove that our girlfriends could be our lobsters, after all.
