‘A Big Piece Of My Heart’ Doireann Garrihy Mourns Over Loss Of Dog Bobby

Doireann Garrihy took to social media today to share photos of family dog, Bobby, after he tragically passed away earlier this week.

The dog, who was owned by Doireann’s sister Ailbhe Garrihy, was often seen on the ladies’ social media channels, with Doireann regularly doing funny skits involving the little Maltese pooch.

“I loved Bobby from the minute I laid eyes on him. My bestest pal for the past 3 years. Thank you @ailbhegarrihy and @ruaidhrih for bringing him into my life,” Doireann wrote on Instagram.

Revealing that he has been fighting for his life the past couple of days, Ailbhe explained that Bobby was unfortunately in an awful accident and now is in “doggy heaven”.

“Bob gave us an unforgettable 3 years of love, laughter and cuddles. He lit up our lives every single day” she continued.

Also mourning in the loss of the loved family pet, eldest sister Aoibhinn Garrihy added that they’re feeling the pain in the west of the country too, “you were so loved Bob”, she added.

Our hearts go out to the Garrihys during this difficult time, loosing a pet is never easy.
