A Second Season Of Stranger Things Has Just Been Confirmed! Here’s When It’ll Air

Summertime and good TV generally don’t go hand in hand, with most of the big TV networks save up their best offerings for the colder autumn and winter months. That said, Netflix threw the rule book out the window with their latest release Stranger Things, and it’s paid off in a big way. The debut series of the Eighties supernatural drama dropped in July 2016, and the show has been something of a break-out hit.

Now the streaming service has confirmed a second series of the show, with nine brand new episodes set to be released next year. Sibling duo Matt and Ross Duffer will return as writers and producers.

While no official air date for 2017 has been announced as yet, we’re hoping it’ll be as early in the year as possible, because WE NEED ANSWERS.
