A Timeline Of The Justin Timberlake DWI Incident

What goes around comes back around if you’re Justin Timberlake. He has found himself in some hot water recently after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York. 

While he is back to his regular schedule of performing, this is not the first time Justin has found himself in a bad situation publicly.

Here is a breakdown of his most recent scandal.

JT Arrested

On June 18, Justin was caught driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, a village in Long Island, New York, while on his way home in the early hours from a night out with his mates.

While doing a routine patrol, a police officer saw Justin’s car drive through a stop sign and fail to stay on the right side of the road. However, recent reports suggest that the police received an anonymous tip-off from someone who was in the same hotel that Justin was drinking at.

When stopped and asked to participate in a breathalyser test, JT refused. He claimed he had only had one martini. Those are pretty strong, to be fair.

He was then arrested and held overnight. 

JT Released

After spending the morning in jail, Justin was released without having to post bail.

He was charged with a DWI misdemeanour and is set to appear in court on July 26.

JT’s Mugshot is Released

News of Justin’s arrest came along with the release of his mugshot.

His blue eyes really pop in these pictures, not going to lie. Compared to other celeb mugshots, it’s pretty decent.

JT Resumes His Tour

On June 21, just three days after his arrest, Justin was back performing. 

He resumed The Forget Me Tomorrow world tour in Chicago. JT is probably hoping we all forget this DWI charge tomorrow. 

While taking a break from singing, Justin told the crowd, “It’s been a tough week.

“I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me, and I love you right back.”

JT Is Now A Meme

Justin’s arrest has now made him a meme.

During his arrest, Justin told the police, “This is going to ruin the tour.” The police officer who arrested him did not recognise him, so when he asked what he was on about, Justin had to tell him about his world tour.

Now, JT has become a meme due to this interaction. Social media users are using this conversation in memes to describe a slight inconvenience or plot points in movies and TV shows.

Jessica Biel’s Reaction

You may be wondering what Jessica Biel, Justin’s wife, thinks about all this. Well, she’s not impressed.

She is currently filming for a new Prime Video series, The Better Sister, in New York City. According to sources, Jessica was not happy with the arrest as it has been a big distraction and put her family in a negative light.

This is not the first time that Justin has humiliated himself, leaving Jessica in an awkward situation.

In October 2010, he reportedly had a three-day fling with Olivia Munn while he and Jessica were dating.

Then, in December 2019, paparazzi photos caught Justin and his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright packing on the PDA. Justin later issued a statement on his Instagram where he apologised to Jessica and his son for his actions.
