In the past week, the Pokemon Go app has taken the world by storm. It’s been downloaded more times than Tinder and according to a mobile app intelligence firm, users are spending more time trying to ‘catch ’em all’ on the geolocation app than they are on Facebook.

But aside from ensuring that you’re almost permanently glued to your phone, the app is also uncovering love cheats.

New York resident Evan Scribner, said he was caught cheating thanks to the app’s built in location tracker. Basically, the app alerted his GF to the fact that he’d been hanging out at is ex’s place.

“She saw that I had caught a Pokemon while at my ex’s house,” he told The NY Post.

Since discovering his bad behaviour, Evan says his girlfriend is no longer speaking to him.

Hum, maybe next time, he’ll keep his Charmander in his pants.

On the flip side though, while Pokemon Go may be potentially ending one relationship, it seems to be kickstarting others, with many saying they’re going on dates with people they met at the app’s locations.

We guess you win some, you lose some, eh?
