We all know about Adele’s upcoming album release, everyone and their mother knows all about it. After leaving us album-less for far too long, Adele surprised us with the news of her next album, 30, due to land next month. And of course, the release of ‘Easy On Me’, which plenty of us have had on repeat ever since.

There was a whole campaign in the lead-up, and now Adele is doing everything from Instagram Lives to interviews to chat all about it.

Now, Adele has revealed that a track on the upcoming album reveals a voicemail she left for her friend of her ‘having an anxiety attack’.

The song in question is about Adele putting on a ‘brave face’ for her nine-year-old son Angelo, who she now shares with her ex-husband Simon Konecki.

“It’s at the end, in the outro. I was having an anxiety attack and I called my best friend to try to talk to her to calm me down but she didn’t bloody answer,” she revealed while speaking to Australian radio station Carrie & Tommy.

Continuing, Adele shared her hopes that the song will give her son a better understanding of why she and Simon decided to part ways.

“So often mum is mum and dad is dad, and who they are outside that role is never really discussed in childhood.

“And when he does get older he will understand, because life is going to hit him as well, of what I was going through.”

The upcoming and highly anticipated album ’30’ is set to be released on November 19th, 2021.
