Alexa Chung Is Finally Launching Her OWN Fashion Label – Here’s When It Drops
Right, well there go all of our future pay checks forever.
Your style wishlist is about to get a whole lot longer, and it’s all thanks to Alexa Chung.
The English socialite and fashion maven has confirmed that she’s finally planning to launch her own label, with the first designs premiering in May 2017.
Yes, it’s a long wait, but Alexa’s not one to do things by halves, and we sense it’ll be well worth the ten (!) months of anticipation.
“I feel as though I’m kind of prepared to do it now,” Alexa told Business Of Fashion this morning.

“If it had been any time sooner than this, I either wouldn’t be responsible enough or have been able to take on this kind of feat.”
The label, provisionally called Alexachung, will include denim, daywear, evening wear, shoes and jewellery. Alexa will oversee a crew of six designers, among them former Haider Ackermann designer Edwin Bosdon, who will act as MD.
As well as a dedicated online shop, the pieces will be stocked by Selfridges, Matchesfashion.com, MyTheresa and SSENSE.
The 32-year-old has previously had two capsule collections, one high-end range with AG and another more budget-friendly line for Marks & Spencer earlier this year.
As for the new range, Alexa has pledged to keep her price points accessible, adding that she wants to “make sure its something that is speaking to just everyone on the street.”
Given the extreme variations in price on her two capsule collections – the M&S range started at just €23, while the AG line ran in price from €320 all the way up to €1,500 for a coat – it’s hard to know what exactly Alexa deems an “accessible”price range, but we’ll just have to hope for the best.
