Harry Faces Helena’s Parents On Love Island Tonight

STELLAR PROMOTION: They're not impressed, obviously...

The friends and family have descended on Love Island, and they’ve got a lot of questions…

On tonight’s episode, Harry gets to meet Helena’s parents, and he wastes no time apologising for how he treated their daughter.

He says: “I just wanted to come and say to you both in person – I apologise for a lot of my behaviour towards your daughter…”

Before all of that, Helena and her parents have a catch up, and her dad Phil asks her, “Is it the real deal what’s being going on?”

Helena replies, “From my end, it was so genuine and so real.”

Helena’s mum Jasmine says, “Helena, you’re a winner” and Helena replies, “He’s not the prize.”

Meanwhile, Blu’s mum and dad reflect on his experience since returning, saying “You got rejected twice.” Harsh.

When all of the catching up is over, Toni’s worried, as she’s convinced that Cach’s family didn’t like her.

“I don’t know. Bad vibes today,” she says when he asks her what’s wrong.

Cach says, “From who?” Toni replies, “Your brother and sister – they don’t like me.”

Cach says, “Toni, it’s not that they don’t like you.”

The islanders are asked, ‘Which couple would you not want to go on a city break with?’ Blu and Helena choose Harry and Shakira.

Blu says, “We went with Harry and Shakira. I think we all know the reason why – Harry might want to wife swap again.”

But when the Islanders answer ‘Which couple is most fake?’, Harry and Shakira choose Blu and Helena. Helena interjects, “That’s a cop out mate.”

Harry says, “Hold on. Blu – after the conversation we had this morning and for you to say you don’t want to go on a break because I’m going to wife swap, I think it is extremely fake.”

Blu says, “You’ve done it five times.”

Toni says, “We’ve gone with Meg and Dejon. I feel like every time there is an argument between us you love to throw out ‘I thought we were friends’ – I feel like there have been many situations where you two have not been friends to me.”

Meg and Dejon choose Shakira and Harry. Meg says, “I feel like Shakira, you’ve made some very hurtful comments to me that we’re not very nice and I’ve always been there for you.”

Shakira says: “The gloves are off now.” They really are, girl.
