All The Bits Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

It's the weekend

Happy Friday, happy weekend, happy end of week.

It’s been a busy week here at Team STELLAR, and it’s no doubt been a busy week for you too.

We don’t know what you’ve been enjoying, reader, but we do know what we’ve been enjoying. Here you go.

If you’re not a fan of smothering your face with the excess tan left on your mitt why not give these tanning drops a go? After a few too many occasions of patchy tan on my face I thought it was about time to invest in these very popular Drunk Elephant Tanning Drops. You simply mix a couple of drops with your moisturiser for a subtle bronzy glow.

I have seen so many people raving about these anti-pollution tanning drops and when I saw them in the duty-free in Luton airport, I just had to try them out for myself. It is safe to say they do not disappoint.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… Sustainable tech

I’m a big Apple girlie. I like their products. They’re slick, fast, high quality… and really, bloody expensive.

They’re also not the most environmentally friendly when you’re upgrading to a new phone every other year. That is, unless, you re-use a phone.

I got my first iPhone from Swappie this week, and I couldn’t be more delighted. Their refurbished phones are budget-friendly, look completely brand new, and are a fully sustainable alternative to buying new.

You can even trade in your old phone when you buy from Swappie – unreal.

The iPhone 12 (goodbye my 11 with the dodgy speaker and minus storage) starts from just €279 on their site. Here’s a pic above I took with it this week. Obsessed.

Editorial intern Olivia is loving… The Targaryens and their dragons

The thought of beginning the eight seasons of Game of Thrones was a little bit intimidating, so I was delighted to learn that I could watch the prequel House of the Dragon without any prior knowledge of the storyline of the former show.

Having watched the first season of this fantasy series in less than a week, I can’t wait to begin the second season which is currently dropping a new episode every Monday until August 5th.

Based on the book Fire and Blood by George R.R Martin, this prequel follows the Targaryens’ ascent to the Iron Throne and is based 200 years before the events of the GOT.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… A good candle

The best thing about working from home is that you get to make a nice lunch. The second best thing is that you can put on a candle for the whole day and nobody says anything.

My new fav scent comes from La Bougie, a West Cork company specialising in luxury, handcrafted scents.

Their kaffir lime and samphire candle boasts tangy citrus, tart lime, and a whisper of marsh lavender amidst the herbal notes of wild samphire. It’s gorgeous – the perfect summer scent.

If you have the holiday blues and love to live vicariously through other people’s holiday vlogs, I highly recommend following Armagh influencer, Annalivia Hynds.

The mother of three has been posting wholesome and funny vlogs and OOTNs over on her TikTok as she enjoys a holiday with her fiancé and young family.

Hooked!

Head of Digital Jade is loving… Fresh skin

Getting yourself a new cleansing skincare product that soothes the skin as much as it smoothes is important.

Too often we become obsessed with finding the most intriguing product, we forget that for many, comforting the skin is just as important as moisturising.

BIODERMA’s new EW Sébium Hydra Cleanser does exactly that, gentle cleansing, restoring moisture levels, and nourishing the skin.

The brand recently added the cleanser so its much loved Sébium collection, creating the perfect combination for reducing, refining, and regulating the skin.

It’s a particularly good shout if you suffer from acne, or dryness from medical treatments. Just gorgeous.

It’s in full swing, and if you haven’t already been stomping through a muddy field in your da’s wellies while Dua Lipa plays in the background, honestly what have you been at?

All Together Now is one festival that I’m particularly looking forward to – especially the Jameson Connects: The Circle stage.

Just Mustard have just been announced as headliners, joining acts including The Murder Capital, Morgana, Rachel Lavelle & Aby Coulibaly.

Those entering The Circle at All Together Now also have the option to enjoy some cocktails including a Jameson Ginger + Lime. Gorge.
