An ‘And Just Like That’ Documentary Is Coming Soon

We're getting a glimpse into behind the scenes.

When it comes to the SATC reboot, And Just Like That, there’s a lot to say. The excitement for it was building so long, and it certainly started with a bang. But, of course, it wasn’t long before fans started questioning the characters and the storylines.

If you’ve stuck with the show this far, you’ll know that the series finale airs this week. But although a second season has yet to be confirmed, it won’t be the last we see of AJLT as a documentary about the show is on the way.

We’ll find out just how Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis felt about bringing SATC back to life, and a glimpse into behind the scene of the show too.

By the looks of the trailer, we’ll also see inside the writer’s room with showrunner Michael Patrick King, there’ll be an insight into how costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago put together some of the show’s looks (I just want to know how Carrie ended up walking around the block with pink rubber gloves, tbh) as well as finding out how new characters Sara Ramirez (Che), Nicole Ari Parker (LTW) and Sarita Choudhury (Seema) found their way on to the show.

Plus, we’ll see how Cynthia Nixon got on with her directorial debut as she directed AJLT episode six – the one where we saw Miranda and Charlotte argue over Miranda’s affair with Che.

So when can we watch it? Well, it will be streaming on HBO Max from February 3rd, the day of the finale, meaning that just like the episodes, it could also be making its way to NOW TV and Sky on the same day.

Check out the trailer below.
