Andrew Scott Hospitalised For ‘Minor Surgery’ Days After Emmy Nomination
The Dubliner is expected to make a speedy recovery.
Fleabag’s Andrew Scott is currently in hospital to undergo minor surgery reports The Old Vic theatre in London.
The theatre shared the news to inform fans that Andrew would be pushing back his live-stream performances of new show The King in order to have surgery.
Writing on Twitter, the statement read:
“We are sorry to let you know that Andrew Scott is now in hospital to undergo minor surgery.”

With concerned fans quickly chiming in, the theatre then sent out another tweet to make sure people were aware the issue wasn’t serious or Covid-19 related.
Continuing, they then explained that Andrew sends his love and a speedy recovery is expected.
The issue isn’t serious (or COVID-19 related) and we are expecting Andrew to have a speedy recovery. He sends his love and apologies and says he’ll see everyone next week.

Rescheduling his show for August 7th and 8th, it looks like the hot priest will thankfully, be back on his feet in no time.
Andrew Scott’s performance in Black Mirror earned him an Emmy nom on the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series shortlist earlier this week.
