Are JLS Getting Back Together? Here’s Everything We Know So Far
JLS fans are waiting with bated breath as JLS tease a “big announcement” following some tour rumours that surfaced over the weekend.
The band were formed on The X Factor 2008 where they performed their way to the semi finals and secured their position as runners-up in the singing competition.
Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams, JB Gill and Aston Merrygold sadly split up in 2013 wanting to forge their own seperate career paths. The group reunited for a tour in 2021 and fans think there may be something new along the way after a recent spike in Instagram posts.

Earlier in the week a JLS stan tweeted: “The boys posting on the JLS account better mean there’s a good announcement coming soon, because I miss them, I miss tour and everything”.
The boys proceeded to take to their Instagram posting a video of Aston and JB responding indirectly to the girls tweet by raising their eyebows and saying: “Interesting”.
While not confirming the rumours the video was enough to get people hyped and wondering what is going on inside the JLS camp this year.
A number of fans took to Twitter to discuss the speculation surrounding the announcement with one saying: “JLS are another reason I am a mug. Another group of lads that I’ll go running back to”. While another said: “JLS could personally ask me for all my life savings and I’d probably give it. I don’t care because they actually make me far too happy”.

JLS were due to embark on their reunion tour in November 2020 but like many other musical acts, they were forced to postpone due to the pandemic.
It was subsequently rescheduled for June and July of 2021, but eventually went ahead in October 2021.
In February 2020 the band announced they were reforming in a video prior to an appearance on The One Show, saying: “Hey we are JLS, and we’re back! We’re back together. We can’t wait to go back on tour at the end of the year. And we’re very excited to be on The One Show this Friday, for a very exclusive performance of some of our hits. Looking forward to chatting to you then, and seeing you and our fans on Friday”.
So what’s the story with JLS? Stay tuned and find out – watch us be first in line for any ticket sales making their way to Irish shores.
