In some good news this dreary Tuesday, we have another Netflix show to look forward to. After the success of Selling Sunset (still counting the days until its return), a spin-off of the show has been announced.
‘Selling the OC’ will follow Oppenheim Group co-founder Jason Oppenheim, as he opens up a brand new real estate office in California. It’ll include a whole new cast too, with well-known real estate agents in the area, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, Alexandra Hall, and even more.
We’ll be waiting a while for it to air, as it’s not being released until 2022.
But while we are waiting, Selling Sunset itself is back on our screens on November 24th.
We’ll have new faces in the next season too, and new cast member Emma Hernan has already opened up about the fact that she’s been warned about bullies and how to cope with them ahead of the new season being aired.
The 30-year-old model turned realtor Emma has actually worked at The Oppenheim Group for some time but is only joining as a leading cast member for the fourth season. Although because she’s been working there, Emma has seen first hand the experiences that the other cast members have gone through.

“I think it’s really difficult in general for any person to kind of see negative criticism come at you,” Emma told People. “But of course, as a woman, even more so. I’ve seen a lot of the girls struggle with the feedback and criticism they’ve gotten.”
She continued, “They’ve warned me, and they’re super protective of me, which I love. They’re like, ‘Don’t read the comments. They might not always be the best.’”
Plus, she added that the upcoming season is set to be the best one yet. “I definitely think between the real estate, the drama and everything else, this will probably be your favourite season. It won’t disappoint. I promise.”
Honestly, let us watch it already.
