Awkward! Mariah Carey’s Credit Cards Were Declined Three Times In A Row At Posh Louis Vuitton Store

"She was embarrassed and humiliated".

We’ve almost all experienced the embarrassment of having our credit or debit cards declined at some point or another, usually followed by the nervous, ‘Oh, I definitely have funds – I’ll just run to the ATM’ spiel.

But when you’re a five-time grammy award winning singer with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, these things aren’t supposed to happen.

Poor (no pun intended) Mariah Carey learned what it was like to be the rest of us when she tried to make a purchase at Louis Vuitton but had her card declined three times in a row. #Awkward.

An eyewitness told RadarOnline that, “She was shopping on Rodeo Drive and her credit cards were declined. When it happened at Louis Vuitton she thought it was a fluke. But when it happened three more times she was embarrassed and humiliated.”

Apparently the 47-year-old was left red-faced and was forced to leave the store empty-handed. However, she later returned with an assistant and her manager Stella Bulochnikov, “who made a total scene,” the eyewitness said.

“They ended up paying cash,” said the source, “But Mariah is blaming her manager for the cancelations, postponement and low ticket sales of her tour with Lionel Richie. She’s also had bad press and business deals. Stella keeps saying everything is going to be all right, but it’s not.”

Things aren’t as rosy in Beverly Hills as we thought.
