Aww! Meghan Markle’s First Meeting With Prince Harry’s Family Sounds Like It Was Adorably Cute

Things sound like they’re definitely getting serious for new couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The pair confirmed their relationship back in November with a statement from Kensington Palace, asking the press to stop hounding Harry’s new partner.

Since then they’ve been pictured hand-in-hand and are reportedly just back from a romantic getaway together in Norway.

And, in even more exciting news, it seems Harry has taken an even bigger step in their relationship, by introducing Meghan to some of the fam last week. Naaaw.

Meghan had previously met Harry’s older brother William, but a source tells The Sun On Sunday that she’s now had her very first meeting with Harry’s sister-in-law Kate Middleton and his niece Princess Charlotte.

Adorably, it seems to have gone super well, with Meghan even getting in some playtime with little Charlotte.

“Harry and Meghan went over to Kate’s apartment in Kensington Palace,” the insider revealed. “William was also there and she got to play with Charlotte who she just adored.”

Keen to impress Kate, Meghan is also said to have given the duchess a gift for her recent birthday.

“Meg had bought Kate a small birthday present – a very smart leather-bound ‘dream diary’ for her thoughts and ideas which Kate loved,” the source explained.

Speaking of this crucial step in Harry and Meghan’s relationship, the source added “This just shows how serious Harry is. He wants to take their relationship to the next level.

“Kate was really looking forward to meeting Meghan and she knew how important it was to Harry. They are very close and he really values her opinion on girlfriends. Obviously Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, died when he was very young so Kate really fulfils that older sister/maternal role.

“It went really well and Meghan was very excited about meeting her.”
