This time around the show will follow the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal in 'Impeachment: American Crime Story'
A third season of the American Crime Story series has been announced, this time focusing on Bill Clinton’s impeachment.
The show which previously looked at the OJ Simpson trial and the assassination of Gianni Versace will this time focus on the White House scandal from the 90s.
Booksmart’s Beanie Feldstein will play Monica Lewinsky who had a sexual relationship with the then-president when she was an intern.
Sarah Paulson has also been confirmed to play Linda Tripp, Lewinsky confidante who is known for recording their phone conversations about the Clinton affair. The tapes went on to be used as key evidence in the impeachment inquiry into Clinton.
Lewinsky will also be a producer on this series.
In recent years the now-46-year-old has began speaking out about online harassment, abuse of power and the #MeToo movement.

Bill, Hillary and many of the other people involved in the story have not yet been cast.
Filming is set to start in February of next year with a release date estimated for September.
