Actress Sydney Sweeney Cries On Phone To Mom After Landing Two Emmy Nominations

The Emmy nominations landed yesterday and it’s safe to say a few tears were shed following their reveal.

One of the most emotional responses coming from Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney who shared the sweet moment on Instagram following receiving the exciting news.

The talented actress can be seen crying in the car while ringing her mom to share the news with her. You can hear her mom shouting ‘congratulations’ before Sydney replies saying she needs to hang up as other calls and more than likely messages of celebration are flooding in.

And Sydney didn’t scoop one nomination, but two – Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in White Lotus.

Sharing her sweet celebration video online, Sydney wrote to her 13 million followers and counting

“What a morning! thank you so much to the @televisionacad for my Emmy nominations!

“It’s an honor to know that both Olivia and Cassie have connected with so many. I’m so proud of both these shows and grateful to everybody that’s been apart of them. But most importantly mom, I love you, we did it through the ups and downs! thank you thank you!!”

Both Euphoria and White Lotus have been renewed too, for a third season for Euphoria and a second season for White Lotus, so we’re going to be seeing a lot more of Sydney’s characters Olivia and Cassie back on the screen and we cannot wait!
