Amy Huberman Gives An Update On Baby Ted And Parenting During The Pandemic

Amy Huberman and Brian O'Driscoll welcomed their third child on December 28th.

Amy Huberman and Brian O’Driscoll are settling into their new roles as parents to three beautiful children.

Just after Christmas, the pair shared the exciting news that they welcomed a new family member, a little boy named Ted on December 28th, 2020.

Taking to Instagram at the time, Rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll wrote:

“2020 was a bit crap but the end of it was aiiiiight! Ted O’Driscoll arrived on Dec 28th and he is deadly. His mum is a champion and his brother and sister are thrilled at having a new little bro.”

Now, almost one month in, the pair are sharing how lockdown and parenting is going, giving little updates on social media alongside some witty humour – hat tip to Amy for always making us laugh.

Admitting that Friday nights are “wild” at the moment with the addition of sleep deprivation on top of lockdown restrictions, Amy revealed that the pair spent 20 minutes watching a soccer game from 2008 that they believed was new.

“We are so sleep deprived we just realized we’ve been mindlessly staring at a random Chelsea v Tottenham Carling cup final replay from 2008. For a solid 20 minutes.”

The Finding Joy star also admitted that she’s been spending a lot of time in her pyjamas, like us all, thanking her little Ted for the “styling ideas”, as she snapped a pic in her sleepwear and fluffy socks.

I mean, who can relate?

Both Amy and Brian have also been homeschooling their two other children seven-year-old Sadie and five-year-old Billy, with Amy sharing some snippets of the process over the past couple of months.

Yes, it’s safe to say 2020 has been a seriously hectic one in the Huberman – O’Driscoll household, the pair even welcomed a furry member to their brood, a rescue dog named Phoebe.

Welcoming Phoebe into their home in early 2020, Amy wrote at the time:

“Phoebe came to us a while ago from @milosmissionrescue and just in nick of time as she’s been the cutest fluffiest puppiest ball of distraction this past while. She’s settling in great now and ready to say hello on the gram!”

Anyone that follows the 41-year-old will know just how fabulous all her puppy content is! More of that throughout 2021, please!
