Cara Delevingne has weighed in on new reports that her ex, Ashley Benson is now dating rapper, G-Eazy.
Ashley and G-Eazy recently worked together on a cover of the 1993 Radiohead song Creep and yesterday, they took their relationship to the next step, by making a PDA appearance and kissing in her car.
But now, as fans start to tear down their new romance and even accuse the Pretty Little Liars star of cheating on Cara, the 27-year-old Brit model has jumped in to defend her ex and released a statement asking people to leave Ashley alone.
“It’s more important now than ever to spread love not hate. To everybody hating on Ashley Benson, please stop.”
Continuing, Cara added:
“You don’t know the truth, only her and I do, and that’s exactly how it should be.”
The model also shared a quote saying “actions speak louder than words” which was probably directed at fans and their treatment of Ashley.
Ashley has yet to comment on the trolling however, according to ET, the actress liked a comment on Instagram that read “Can’t Ashley have friends now? STOP SAYING ASHLEY CHEATED! OR EVEN CARA! They just need friends right now more than ever.”
Revealing the reason behind Ashely and Cara’s breakup earlier this month, a source told People that there are no hard feelings between the two, saying:
“Cara and Ashley always had their ups and down before but it’s over now,”
“Their relationship just ran its course.” they added.
Neither of them ever commented on their split but we’re glad to see they didn’t leave things on bad terms.
