Desi Perkins Revealed She Is Pregnant After Sharing Her IVF Journey

YouTube star Desi Perkins has announced the news that she and her husband Steven are expecting their first child, after Desi shared her fertility journey on YouTube. The pair made the exciting announcement on Instagram revealing that the baby was due in October 2020.

Back in July of 2018, Desi posted an emotional YouTube video titled ‘Hardest Video I Ever Filmed’, revealing that she had previously suffered a miscarriage. She revealed that after the miscarriage, she had to have a tumour removed and struggled with depression from the traumatic event and struggling to conceive afterwards.

A few months later, Desi and her husband, Steven, started sharing their fertility journey with her followers on Desi’s second channel, “The Perkins”. The series followed the couple trying different fertility treatments, before their last video revealed that their IVF had been successful and they are now expecting a baby. A massive congratulations are in order!

Revealing why they decided to upload the video over the weekend, Desi explained, “I just wanted you guys to know that May 9th was when I first told Stephen I was pregnant years and years and years ago and today is actually May 9th, while we are sitting here filming this to share with you that we are pregnant.” Showing off her baby bump, Desi added, “I’m free, I can finally stop hiding on Instagram”.
