Here’s The Sweet Way Alexandra Burke Announced She’s Pregnant

While most years like to start with a bang, 2022 decided to do things differently and start things off with a boom! A baby boom, that is, with plenty of our favourite celebs like Rihanna and Shay Mitchell announcing their pregnancies this year. And another happy couple just announced their baby news.

Singer Alexandra Burke and Irish footballer Darren Randolph shared they are expecting their first child together.

Alexandra posted a video to her Instagram of the pair on a lovely forest walk with Darren kissing Alex’s growing bump. Captioning the video, “Due June 2022.”

Obviously, it’s brilliant news, and plenty of the pair’s famous pals took to the comments to congratulate them.

Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse commented with three love heart-eyed emojis.

Musician Dionne Bromfield, said, “Ahhh!! Congratulations to you both 💕”

Singer Jamelia wrote, “Awww, Congratulations Mama 😘😘😘”

Model Daisy Lowe shared, “Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations!!! So excited for you ”

Another model who sent well wishes to the couple was Jordan Dunn, as she commented, “Congratulations” with love heart faced emojis.

Darren and Alexandra were rumoured to have started seeing each other in October 2020. But only confirmed their relationship in July 2021, with Alex posting a pic of the pair to IG making things official.

Since then the pair have only gotten closer, constantly sharing adorable snaps together and stepping out on the red carpet hand in hand.

A massive congrats to the soon to be parents.
