Red (Taylor’s Version) was released over the weekend, and between listening to the 10-minute version of All Too Well and watching the short film, Swifties have been pretty occupied, but not busy enough to miss any Easter eggs.
Those being that Taylor is seemingly hinting at 1989 TV being released next.
Taylor’s 2014 album 1989 has some of her biggest hits, including Shake It Off, Blank Space, Style, and Wildest Dreams, along with fan favourites like Clean and You Are In Love. So it’s a bold statement to say it’s being re-released next, but there’s some evidence, right?
Well, the first clue comes from the All Too Well short film.

The car featured in the film and teaser clip is a 1989 Mercedes Benz. Obviously, fans took notice of the detail and think it hints at what her next re-recording will be.
Fans are also convinced as Taylor already re-released Wildest Dreams, a song of 1989.

Wildest Dreams was going viral at the time, thanks to a TikTok trend. Which could have been the reason for re-releasing the song.
But the theories don’t stop there. Some also believe that Taylor’s recent outfits might be clues hinting at 1989 being next.

Taylor has been sporting tight catsuits lately, which are reminiscent of outfits she wore during her 1989 era. Taylor sported catsuits on her 1989 world tour, and the looks have since become iconic. She hasn’t worn the style since, so some think her recent outfits are significant.
She has also been wearing crop tops and high waisted pieces lately, like her outfit to the 2021 Brit Awards. This is another combo she wore a lot during her 1989 era. Does it mean something more?

Taylor is currently re-recording her first six albums in a bid to own her music. Her original versions were sold to Scooter Braun in 2019, an arrangement that Taylor was reportedly unaware of until the sale became public knowledge.
Currently, she has re-recorded two of her albums Fearless, and Red, and right now is busy performing and promoting her Red re-recording. Her most recent performance was on the American sketch show Saturday Night Live, where she was joined by some of her friends backstage.

Supporting Taylor backstage was BFF Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and co-star Sadie Sink. Everyone seemed to have a great time with Ryan playing photographer for Taylor, Sadie and SNL cast member Bowen Yang. While later on in the night, Taylor and Selena made a TikTok together.
But someone noticeably absent was Taylor’s boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

No need to worry through, there is nothing nefarious when it comes to his absence. Joe is currently filming an upcoming project in Panama. The country has very strict travel restrictions due to covid, and so it was likely just too much hassle to leave.
