Happy birthday, Paul Rudd.

The This Is 40 star turned another year older this week and proved that he still doesn’t look a day over 40 – in fact, we’d even go as far as saying 25, as his repertoire of movies throughout the past few decades has proved.

Taking to social media to wish the star a HB, our thoughts exactly were shared by the likes of Jennifer Aniston who posted on Instagram to wish her best friend and often, colleague, a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday #PaulRudd. You don’t age, which is weird – but we celebrate you anyway” she said followed by three red heart emojis.

Jennifer, who too might we add, doesn’t age (is there something in the water in Hollywood?!), turned 52 years old in February, making them not only BFFs, but 1969 babies.

Those who are fans of Jennifer and Paul’s friendship will know that it dates back to the beginning of their careers, with both stars appearing together in Friends in the 90s. Speaking about his appearance on the show, Paul admitted that the casting crew wanted to fire him almost as quickly as he started due to a faux pas before filming even began.

“I was on the set for my first episode and Jennifer was on a Segway because she had broken her toe, and everyone was marvelling at it.

“Matt LeBlanc asked to have a go and immediately knew how to do it. I then asked to try it too. I spun round and rolled it right over Jennifer’s foot!

“The producer’s look of panic was if to say, ‘Is it too late to fire him? Has his character been established yet?’ I felt awful. Such an inauspicious start,” the Ant Man star told Graham Norton in 2019.

Sharing more photos, Jen also shared an image of the pair from a GQ photoshoot in 2012 to promo the pair reuniting on screen, adding that she loves Paul.

And loved he is, another very famous acting co-star to Paul, Elizabeth Banks wished her “boyfriend/brother” a happy birthday, adding that it’s “not weird”.

Whatever you say, Liz. HB, Paul!
