Justin Hartley And Girlfriend Sofia Pernas Got Married Before Red Carpet Appearance

This comes three months after the star finalised his divorce with Chrishell Stause.

This Is Us star Justin Hartley took to the red carpet in Los Angeles last night for the MTV Movie Awards and it looks like he’s a married man once again.

Joined by new wife Sofia Pernas, the newlyweds could be seen both wearing a band on that finger, with a source confirming to People that the pair wed in secret, however as to when is still unknown.

Taking to the red carpet on Sunday night was also a first for the pair who arrived to the awards show hand-in-hand- potentially to break their good news.

Going official just over one year ago, the pair have spent the majority of their relationship in lockdown, but donned their glad rags on Sunday night for their debut awards show together.

Sofia, who is also part of the acting world, has starred in various shows including NBC series The Brave and CBS show Blood & Treasure.

Those who are fans of Selling Sunset will know that Justin was previously married to Chrishell Stause, actress and relator, shooting to fame on the reality brokerage series on Netflix in 2019.

Justin ended the pair’s marriage in November 2019, citing “irreconcilable differences” when he filed for divorce. The divorce was finalised three months ago in early 2021.

Since the split, Chrishell previously dated Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Keo Motsepe, however called off the relationship in March and confessed that she was taking a break from dating.

The hit US show which Justin plays Kevin Pearson in, This Is Us, has announced that the sixth season of the show will be the last and that it’s time to say goodbye.

Showrunner Dan Fogelman revealed back in 2019 that, in his vision for the show, it would only ever run for six seasons in total. In his eyes, the whole story wraps up nicely at that point.

“We never set out to make a television series that was going to last 18 seasons, so we have a very direct plan,” Fogelman told the Hollywood Reporter. “I have script pages I have written and I’m writing that really are deep, deep, deep into the future. We have a plan for what we’re going to do, and I know what the plan is.”

At least we have a while yet to enjoy the Pearsons, and Chrissy Metz, who plays Kate, revealed that the whole cast is “distraught” over it, so it might not be the very end.

This Is Us is currently making its way through season five with unprecedented delays due to the pandemic.
