Katie Holmes And Her Daughter Suri ‘Saved Each Other’ After Moving Away From Tom Cruise

Since Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise divorced in 2012, Katie and her daughter Suri’s bond has gotten even stronger. Understandably enough, as Tom reportedly doesn’t have a relationship with his 14-year-old daughter because of his involvement with the Church of Scientology. Katie and Suri moved across the country after the divorce and settled in New York, and a source close to them has said they’ve “saved each other”.

According to Us Weekly, “You’d struggle to find a mom-daughter duo who are more in sync with each other. They’re a real team—their connection is a beautiful thing to witness.” They added that Katie is able to lean on Suri and vice versa. “If Katie’s feeling stressed or down, Suri’s very compassionate and loving,” they shared. “Katie feels like her daughter really is her little angel….It’s no exaggeration to say that Suri and Katie have saved each other. They really are wonderful together.”

Of course, it’s lovely that the pair have such a great relationship, as it’s been said that Suri doesn’t have a relationship with her father. Back in 2017, US Weekly also reported that, “Tom hasn’t seen or even called Suri in about three years” because of his religious beliefs.

Katie occasionally gives sneak peeks into her and Suri’s life on Instagram, just the other day she posted pictures of how they’re spending Suri’s birthday while in quarantine. It seems they’re trying to make the most of their time indoors, like the rest of us non-famous people!
