After eight years living in her London townhouse next to her brother, Sam Thompson – two houses which have featured heavily in Made In Chelsea over the years, Louise Thompson is after temporarily moving out of her pad in order to give it one serious makeover.

Explaining that these renovations were a long time coming, with plans beginning as far back as last July, Louise admitted that she’s excited to spend some time out of the house while her home undergoes a total transformation, including knocking down walls and building a pretty big extension towards the rear of the house.

“Checking in on the project and they’ve knocked down the wall and done heaps in a week. I’m vvvvv impressed. The extension is well and truly underway and we basically share a home now (with one massive garden),” Louise wrote on Instagram while sharing a snap next to her brother Sam Thompson and his girlfriend Zara McDermott who live next door.

“This has been one of the most liberating weekends I’ve had in a long time…” Louise revealed, swapping city life for countryside living alongside her man and two dogs.

As for when Louise will be back in her home, it’s hard to know with everything from the walls being stripped to some of them even knocked down, it looks like it’ll be a couple of months before the pair are back in and settled. But for now, we cannot wait to see all the updates, plus get some serious interior inspo!
